TAG Exchange Expo with CVAC 

Trumbull Art Gallery and Cuyahoga Valley Art Center are going to exchange the artwork of their memberships—their first Exchange Show—April 27 – May 23. Applications should be available soon—but here are a few bits of info:

CALENDAR:

April 22 & 23     Entries accepted (TAG members deliver to TAG) 10 a.m. – 6 pm

April 24             Judging (at TAG for TAG  members/at CVAC for CVAC members)

April 25-26         Selected pieces will be transported to the other gallery

April 27             Show opens with a reception at TAG from 3-5 p.m.  (SUNDAY)

May 4                Reception at CVAC from 3-5 p.m. (SUNDAY)

May 30             Show closes

June 6               Pick up artwork (at TAG for TAG members, etc.) 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.       

All artists who are currently paid members of Cuyahoga Valley Art Center and/or Trumbull Art Gallery (not TAA members as announced in the last newsletter nor as listed on the TAG website—you must be a member of TAG or CVAC to participate).       

Only framed two dimensional works will be accepted.  No three dimensional works.  There will be a $15.00 entry fee for two pieces per artist.  No awards will be given; however, there will be a PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD.        

TAG membership is $ 30 Individual—$ 20 Senior 65+—$ 20 Student. Mail to Trumbull Art Gallery, P.O. Box 888, Warren, OH 44482.

YWCA Art Show at The Butler/Salem

Act quickly for this event which is scheduled March 1-April 5 at the Butler , 343 E. State St. in Salem. Cost is $7 per entry. Any artist is eligible. You may enter up to 3 original pieces produced from 2005 to present. 48” maximum size in any direction. Entries will be accepted on Friday, Feb. 22, 11-6, and Saturday, Feb. 23, 11-4, at The Butler/Salem. $1000 in prizes available. Questions? Call the Y at 330-332-9944.
