Hi, I am DBlossum Fairy. I have been with the
site fights for over a two yrs. I was first in the
fights as a fighter and made it all the way to the dome.
When I lost I was very sad and DFairy took me under
her wing. So Now I am DBlossum Fairy. I fought for
a wonderful team called Darksbane Dragons. I think
they are the most spirited and kindliest fighters in the
fights. Some day I will put the whole story in here
about how the fights were when I started, but for now
I will just tell you some of my experiences as a fairy.
Please, pay close attention. You may learn from my
mistakes. <grin> I only made a few. When I started
you didn't have training wings. Those came about because
I couldn't keep my wings dry they kept sticking together,
When this happened I was in serious trouble, I couldn't
fly. One night on my journey, it started to rain. I tried
to shield my wings with an umbrella, big mistake, the
wind caught that umbrella and floated me way up in the
air, I couldn't hold on to it so I let go. Oh me Oh My
wings got wet and started to melt, and I came down
with a crash. my dears, I do mean a crash.
( I have been told , that I added new depth to the
Grand Canyon) now I know am plump but this
is a little ridiculous. hee hee. Anyway , when I
finally got up from the crash, my fairy
dust was all wet too and looked like a bunch of mud.
Well to make a long story short, I contacted DFairy
for help and she sent me Gossamer Wings. Now these
wings don't melt, but they do get sticky and tacky. So
you still have to keep them dry. My suggestion is to use
plastic wrap, you can wrap those wings up and keep
dry and it doesn't weigh you down so you can still fly.
Now about the dust, this is a little trickier, you can't
wrap it in plastic, because you won't be able to suck
it up in the wand, I thought of getting something like
a leaf blower to blow it all around but you would use a
lot of dust that way. So I decided that you should stand
under a shelter fill the wand, keep the rest of the dust
in a plastic bag, Shield the wand with one wing and
dust very quickly. Or you could just let it turn
to mud, and make mud pies and drop them
every where, being careful not to drop them on
someone, when they dry they turn
back into dust. Well that is my little story on how the
gossamer wings came to be. I hope you enjoyed this
and it will help you in your flights. Oh yes one more
Piece of advice, Watch out for all the Dragons out there
some of them get overly friendly on the fairy dust and
want to sit on your lap , now that is heavy. did you ever
try to lift a dragon. geeeshhhh they are heavy.
