An internet friendship begins very slowly.
Both feeling out the other person.
Little did I know that when I began
I would find a friend that is like a sister
One I never had.

I met you through LOTH
What a wonderful group
We talked and got to know
a little about each other.
I felt you where a person
I could tell my troubles to.
I certainly did find
A friend in you.

You are an artist,
as am I .
That was what bonded us
Then little by little
our friendship grew.
You are a nana
as I am too.

Wow just one more thing
and our friendship grew.
You came to mean so much to me
a sister I never had
the chance came to meet you
I was so glad.

The thoughts that ran through my head
would she like me,
would I like her
would we be strange
after all we had never met
I was to meet her so soon Yet????

I hoped that she would like me
I would not be a disappointment
I was so anxious.

Would I recognize her?
Would she recognize me?
I would just have to wait and see.
We had planned to meet at noon
There where so many people there
in the place we picked to meet
Would I recognize her?
Would she recognize me?

I arrived a little early
I was anxious, you see.
Where do I sit
Would she see me?
Would I see her?
My Hubby was with me
I forgot to mention.
He could feel the building tension.
Then he looked down the street
Looked at me and said
"I think that's her, Your about to meet"

I looked at her
and she at me
The smile that lit her face
Was the smile of an angel

She was everything
I hoped she would be
She was truly A sister to me.
