What is a “MuseumBond”
A Museum Bond is a unique process to transfer Photographic and fine
art prints on to canvas.
During the first step of Museum Bond's unique process
Photographic and fine art prints are hermetically sealed with a
protective and environmentally safe invisible laminate. This little
known process, used extensively in Europe, is what gives Museum Bond
the rich luster and enhanced colors that other processes are unable
to provide. Artwork on any print is not affected with our process,
and there is no need for further spraying or mounting. Both matte
and semi gloss finishes are available, and UV filters are
incorporated into the laminate to inhibit fading.
Image Wrap is also available.
Image Wrap is very popular on fine art prints, and is slowly making
an appearance on photographs. It's something you could offer a
client, and also something that would show well on a studio display.
Should you or your client want to display a print without a frame,
Image Wrap would be the way to go
When
a canvassed print is stretched over artist stock, the staples
holding the print run along the side and are hidden by the picture
frame. With Image Wrap, 1" stock is used and the actual image is
wrapped around the oversized stretcher. The staples run along the
back of the artist stock, hidden from sight. This makes for a very
clean frameless presentation.
