I want you to know who I am

I wanted some one that was like her
some one who'd love and make me feel like a man
I needed a friend and a lover
but I guess you just don't understand
and I want you to know who I am

So I tried and tried to make it happen
but for me it's just not in the stars
I wondered around all the planets
looking for Venus, but all I found was Mars
and today I still carry the scar's

and I want you more than I need you
and I need you more than I want
your in my soul
and you're way to bold
but I want you to know who I am

you told me that I was not any
of the things that you look for in a man
you want some one who is more gentle
and willing to just lend a hand
I guess you don't know who I am

so I walk alone now forever
remembering the touch of your hand
I think about all that could of been
if only, you knew who I am
and I want you to know who I am

The Radio Was Playing

The radio was playing
from the back room office wall
she turned the corner all at once
she was big, and she was tall
her long red hair hung down to there
and she had legs that just wouldn't stop
I stood there in pain, desire drove me insane
and I thought a blood vessel was gonna pop

She smiled at me cutely
with her big green bedroom eyes
and asked me if I knew
the way to the office of some guys
who sold something or other
I wonder if she knew
I wanted her so badly
then she asked "what do you do"

All with in the same breath
she said " Hi, my name is Bill
I wonder what you're doing big boy
hey wanna buy a cheap thrill"
well I didn't understand
this all seemed real strange, you see
and yes I know that curiosity will kill
but I asked her to explain her name to me

She grabbed me by my jacket
she kicked me with her knee
she said "I've been robbed so many times before"
and that she didn't wanna get robbed by me
and that no matter what I thought
she said she was not a street walking whore
so I said to her "I'm sorry"
I won't bother you any more

Then I turned and walked from her
and wiped a tear from my eye
hey what the heck, I mean after all
at least I took a try
as the radio was playing
from the back room office wall
a cowboy song about a man
who to this day, somehow, still stands tall
then she turned the corner
she was big, and nailed me to the wall
I didn't know she was a he
I had no idea at all

He She Too

I was just walking down the street
with my head in the sky
when out'a the corner
of my one good eye

across the street I saw her
looked so fine, dressed to kill
I knew I had to go to her
and ask her for a thrill

she was dressed in stockins
and sexy, red spiked heels
the dress she wore was made of silk
and I love the way silk feels

She looks like she was ready
to do what ever I wanted to
I waited for a moment
as my dream started to come true

so I asked her poliettly
to tell me her first name
and when she spoke it shook me so
at first I thought I came

but when I heard her deep voice
say "Hi my name is Bill"
I realized that she was a he
and my heart broke, as I took a spill

when turning to run away from her
or him, what ever the case might be
sometimes it's hard to tell them apart
some tranvestites are as pretty as can be

Misoneism

Many years have passed now
since last he had been there
and even though he knew where he was
he felt the misoneism taking over

nothing was as he remembered it...
they were the same people
and yes, this was the same town
but now, somehow, it just wasn't the same

The home he had lived in
many years ago was now gone
the roads that were only foot path's
then, were now all paved

The children he would play with
out in the hot afternoon sun
so many years ago, were now full grown
with children of their own

He knew where he was
but yet nothing was the same
and he felt sick as the misoneism
over took him, and he forgot his own name

could he somehow capture the memories again
just as he recalled them then
before the misoneism took over his soul
or would he forever feel this uncertainty

Nothing last for ever
sooner or later everything will change
but why did it have to happen
his memories had to rearrange

to accept all that is new here
try to swallow the pain
trying to deal with the felling
of misoneism in his brain

Pianissimo

The piano man
played with one hand
in an pianissimo style
all the while
we danced...

his other hand pointed the way
he wanted us to go
he wanted us to follow his music
he wanted us to dance

directional music or not
we danced and followed his music
till we forgot
what time it was

The moonlights shadow moved along with us
as we danced to the directional tune
with each step, spin, or twirl we took
the directional sound of the pianissimo tune
was our only guide

the pianissimo tune guided us
now, unable to see his pointing finger
followed only by the moon light
into unknown directions
free to dance

Elysium Fields

I stand here and I am frightened
again, cause I am alone
I am with out my family
my friends, and my home

I stand here very naked
yet not ashamed at all
no longer old and bent over
I fell young and can stand tall

I see that others are out there
on the horizon of this new place
I do not know any of them at all
none of them seem to have a face

and so I start my journey
alone, in these Elysium Fields
I have no idea where I am going
or what this journey will yield

every thing is so perfect
everything is so pure
I wonder do I belong here
I am not really sure...
