Art
has always played an important part in my life. Even at an early age I
painted numerous imaginative watercolor pictures that were given to family and
friends. I attended art schools in New York City majoring in Advertising Art,
then went to work for various New York Companies. I became Senior Art Director
for Avon Products and introduced the successful sales brochure which
representatives still use, today. I also worked for Aldens as Fashion Art
Director until the company moved to Chicago in 1979, My wife and I relocated to
Tampa, Florida where I spent several years as Art Director for Stonebrook
Advertising Agency creating fashion ads and brochures for local newspapers. Now
retired, I am a member of the Tampa Realistic Artists, and Florida Fine Arts
Guild. I have won numerous awards for my paintings and many are in private
collections in Washington State, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and
Florida. I enjoy painting scenic watercolors as well as lighthouses.
