You will see a new tutorial about once a month. I hope you will visit and tell him how much you like his work and thank him for being so generous with his work. Also Grant has some tutorials on Graphic Art that are very interesting. I am sure you will enjoy these as much as I do. Once again My thanks to Grant.

This lesson is titled"Make Lemonade".

We just got back from a week in Calgary and this is the first painting I've done in about 2 weeks. It was 30 below zero ( Celsius or centigrade ) in Calgary, that's the temperature where molecules stop moving, at least my molecules stopped moving. We went to see the Briar, and for any non-Canadians, that's the curling championship. Curling is a sport, I won't attempt to explain it but we adopted it from the Scottish people because we desperately needed a game we could play on ice without fighting and spitting. Most curlers still have their own teeth.  We left for home ( Victoria, B.C. ) last Friday only to find it snowing when we arrived. This is March, the month when all Victorians would normally be sending smug photos of daffodils and plum blossoms to their friends in Toronto. Now with digital cameras and email, we can blitz the whole country with this annoying behaviour. This little south-west corner of the country is usually the only area that isn't frozen at this time of the year, but, alas, this year we too are out in the cold. Well, you know the old saying, "when you get handed a lemon, make lemonade.
