In 2002, Don will include instruction on
creating your own personal watercolor travel journals. His personal journals
from sessions in Cornwall, England, Vancouver, BC and his annual sessions in the
Adirondacks and on the coast of Maine are great examples which you will review,
for your own efforts.
Don Getz has been conducting artist's workshops in the United States, Canada and
abroad for the past 25 years and yet he constantly works to upgrade and deliver
a more exciting workshop challenge for each participant at every session. He
strives to assist each artist in improving their own individual style and become
dedicated painters with more confidence. Getz demonstrates everyday, works
individually with each artist to solve their own problems and conducts a daily
group critique. His sessions are intense and yet a pleasure for those
participating.
He states: " I am never quite toatally pleased with my painting results;
always feeling that I can do better. Con't settle for 'good', when great is the
goal:
Con Getz is a signature member and third vice-president of the American
Watercolor society, signature member of Midwest Watercolor society and founder
of the Ohio Watercolor society. He has also served as selection & awards
juror for many regional shows, including the AWS two times.
