Brenda Hadjian
Brenda Hadjian
enjoyed a career in chemical and industrial supplies sales, employed
by Chem-Crafters, Inc. in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She worked with
several major area companies researching needs and bidding on
contracts. She retired in 1994 and moved to Atlanta, Georgia where
she joined a drapery workroom, using her creative skills to design and
craft window treatments. It was during this time that she started
painting. She took courses in drawing and charcoal, at the Roswell
Recreational Center and studied watercolor for three years with Lalla
Street at the Holcomb Bridge Recreational Center.
Brenda moved to
Florida and in recent years, resumed watercolor instruction at the
Adult Community Education Center with Mary Lou Ringers and enrolled in
several workshops with well-known artists. Brenda’s work has been
accepted into numerous shows and exhibitions, including the Florida
Suncoast Watercolor Society Show on Anna Maria Island.
Brenda also works
with Art & Frame of Sarasota to organize art workshops, bringing
nationally renowned artists to teach in Sarasota.
She is a member of
the Florida Watercolor Society, the Art Center of Sarasota, and the
Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society.
