Artist Bio Jacquie
Clark is an artist always in pursuit of the essence. After a through
grounding in sculpture and years of concentration on oil painting, she
discovered the joyful spontaneity of watercolor and has focused her
efforts in that medium ever since. Now, as her watercolor technique
matures through practice, experimentation and instruction, her fascination
with the medium and control of the finished product becomes ever more
sure.
Jacquie has studied with many of the country’s prominent watercolorists in
workshops and symposia in the states, as well as abroad, to renew and
recharge her commitment to a demanding medium. She is a signature member
of the Florida Suncoast, Florida, Pennsylvania, and National Watercolor
Societies.
Jacquie exhibits her paintings in Florida at Sarasota’s Art Uptown and at
the Artist Guild Gallery on Anna Maria Island. She works predominantly out
of her studio on the Bradenton River. Her paintings are collected and
exhibited nationally and internationally.
