HOW IS IT
How is it that, he has found me?
My armored dream ,come true
These modern times, of war and hate
A prince, among so few
Searching always, for my knight
Amongst the crowds, so dense
Looking for that special gleam
Not, one of common sense
Little do the humans know
Or take the time to see
Money, fame or riches
Is not the secret key
For what sets, my knight apart
From all the world below
Is courage, honor, gentle soul
The qualities of my beau
Yes, I am blessed forever more
My prayers answered above
By my side, thru thick and thin
My Hero, My Knight, My Love

Season for change
Autumn is rolling, it's crisp in the air
Colors so brilliant, to view everywhere
Days follow changes, the world goes on
Life's always turning, love sings her song
A new day beginning, a change in me
This autumn of my life, for all to see
September solace, my souls at ease
A time to grow, I sigh, I'm please
No spring time tears, drip down my cheek
It's time to smile, to leap , not weep
October winds, swirl around my heart
A wondrous time, to begin my start
I've lived so meekly, spring time days
The summer warmth, ephemeral haze
But the Autumn changes, renewed today
Set me free, nothing now, in my way
For when winters cold, sets out its path
I'll be safe and warm, in my lovers grasp
Until the end, of what all would be
Happiness has found, this season in me

MAGICAL MOMENT
Magical moment
The rain on your face
Rush of the wind
The touch of fine lace
Magical moment
A Babies first word
Scent of a rose
The song of a bird
Magical moment
A mountain top view
Sparkling star
A penny brand new
Magical moment
Your heart skips a beat
Wonder of love
Soulmates to meet
Magical moment
Vows say " I do"
Sealed with a kiss
The wonder of you

Shadows and Smoke
Shadows and smoke, smolder my thoughts
night lover sneaks in. steals my heart
I ponder the ashes, left over desires
waiting for change, longing for hours
Passions building, inside of me
the smoke of the smog, is all I see
needing the newness, of a spring time dawn
I sit and I wait, for life to go on
the evening hours, are the hardest to bear
as I view the emptiness, of what once was there
the tousled sheets, smells lingering above
is all the evidence, that's left of my love
minutes turn to hours, hours to days
life keeps on turning, I'm left in a daze
weeks turn to months, months into years
So long to wait, so many shed tears
Break the crystal, that's entrapped my heart
Release the sun, warm our life to start
Send him now, right here beside me
To live and love, in sweet harmony |
