 Be careful with this life
For we only have one

 Sometimes things don't work as planned
 Sometimes life is such a demand
 Often you give and do not receive
 Your destined to sit, maybe to grieve

 Sometimes the tunnel has no escape
 Deep inside, so many wishes to make
 You try to smile, but it just won't come
 The world is dark, you need the sun

 What gives us strength to pick up again?
 To swallow pride and to try to win
 Rainbows can not always be found
 Its hard to dream, pushed on the ground

 Tears dry up and hard you stand firm
 Then look in a mirror, and start to yearn
 People can hurt, but will not break me
 I'm soft and kind and gentle you see

 And if I dare to dream my dreams
 I'll let it soar within it's means
 Brush off the dirt upon my skirt
 Smile to the stars and try not to hurt

 Lift my head, so tall in the sky
 Sing once again, my notes so high
 For always tomorrow is another day
 Yesterday is forgotten and put away
