"This painting is an extension of
the Ciruello Series of Table/chair compositions that
usually have reflected events in my life (perhaps not
known at the time of the painting).  This one includes
a review of family history, an early black/white photo
of me and my father, transfered to the paper and
painted over with transparent layers of color
corresponding to the colors in the overall painting."
