Martha-Anne
Garabedian complements her artistic interests and creativity
while helping her real estate clients find their Florida beach
homes. Martha-Anne grew up in Worcester, MA, and enjoyed her
introduction to art in high school. Because of her abilities,
she was selected to create artwork for both her high school and
college yearbooks as well as other class projects.
After a business degree from college, she moved to New York City
and was a successful sales person in the information technology
industry. At that time, her hobby was photography and she won a
number of awards and honorable mentions. While in NYC, the many
art museums in the City were inviting and inspirational to her.
However, it was the move to Clearwater, and a Christmas gift of
art classes in 1994 that provided Martha-Anne the opportunity to
explore painting as an expressive outlet.
Watercolors became the medium of choice to represent her variety
of subjects. Florida seascapes and landscapes, florals, still
life, as well as abstracts are captured in her paintings.
Locally, she is a member of the Florida Watercolor Society, the
Creative Artists Guild, Dunedin Fine Arts Museum, Beach Art
Center, Tarpon Springs Art Center, Tampa Realistic Artists, and
C5Arts. She has taken many classes and workshops and also
enrolled in additional art classes at St. Petersburg College.
As an awards recipient, Martha-Anne has exhibited in several
one-woman shows and is a founding member of C5Arts.
Martha-Anne offers originals and reproductions for sale. Her
paintings hang in a number of homes and private collections.
