My
happiest childhood memories involved art. I’ve always loved to draw
and paint. Time evaporates; and to this day I lose myself in the
creative process unfolding. Additionally, my professional interest
in nutrition has led me very naturally to the subjects of the
majority of my still life paintings.
I studied in Paris at the Musee de Louvre: and, while living in
Spain I studied & apprenticed with a Grandmaster. These experiences
have given me first-hand exposure and knowledge not only of Realism,
Ultra-Realism, Tromp L’Oeil and Impressionism, but also the
understanding and appreciation of the basis of Renaissance painting.
Every day I feel so fortunate to be able to make art. The true joy
is in the creating. But it is always a special gift when someone
finishes the equation by understanding and enjoying my art.
