An Accomplished artist, Al was an illustrator in Chicago for many years. He graduated from the Chicago Academy of Fine arts and did additional studies at the School of Art Institute of Chicago. Al is a signature member of the Mid-west Watercolor Society and an Artist member of the American Society of Marine Artists. In addition to owning and operating the Stine Gallery in Anderson, SC  Al and and his wife Liz conduct watercolor workshops around the United States, Canada and Mexico.
